Take ferries from Plymouth, Portsmouth, Newhaven and Dover
Routes from France via Lyon provided by the AA/Rac, cross
French/Spanish border on motorbay A9/A7, take exit 5 sign posted
Escala, from N11(2) at border (Le Perthus) then at Figueres take
exit marked Escala/La Bisbal.

Girona Airport, only 40 minutes from
Casa Berjon, has around 7 routes from the UK plus the
flights from Dublin and Shannon.
Low-cost airline Ryanair is the main carrier for Girona airport
offering flights from the following airports:
Glasgow, Blackpool,
Liverpool, East Midands, London Luton and Stansted, Gatwick,
Bournemouth.
Flybe flies
from Birmingham and Southampton to Perpignan airport which is
50 minutes from L'Escala.Ohterwise you can fly into
Barcelona from major UK airports with different airlines e.g.
Easyjet, BA, Iberia,Thomson.Barcelona airport is 90 minutes from
L'Escala and is mostly motorway. It is possible for us
to arrange transport from and to Girona and Barcelona Airport
if required.

It is worth hiring a car at Girona Airport as
having your own car gives you the freedom to explore this wonderful
part of Spain. All main companies have car rental offices within
Girona Airport such as Avis, Europacar and Hertz but eaqually you could rent safely from local
